Sunday Best: September 8

Happy Sunday, all! Experiments in color-blocking today! This eye-catching pink skirt is from my dear friend Anna who was recently cleaning out her closet. She offered the skirt to me, knowing I'd put it to good use in one of the regular Sunday Best features. I just love how it looks paired with this simple tan sweater.

When I was getting dressed this morning, I was torn between nude pumps and my lace-up floral flats. In the end, I decided on flats because the skirt has a bit of va-va-voom on its own, and doesn't need the help of heels. Everything in moderation, as they say.

Lastly, I added a pair of dainty drop earrings that I made a few years ago. They're a nice, neutral colorway that matches the sweater and flats.
