Happy Sunday, all! Another sweltering weekend calls for an "easy, breezy" sort of outfit. Here's the look I put together...
A loose-fitting cotton cardigan, cotton tank and gauzy silk skirt were some good, breathable choices for today's high temps. (Quite thankfully, church is air-conditioned too.) A pearl necklace is always a perfect finishing touch.
This skirt was a rummage sale find a few years back. (Just look at the incredible movement it has! Fun fact: the crinkle texture is achieved by tying the skirt in a big knot after washing.) Tank top was $5 at JCPenney.. this neutral color will go with everything! I borrowed the cardigan from Mom, and the flats were on clearance at DSW. All said, this was a very frugal outfit. As ever, my motto is "gorgeous and grounded," creating beautiful looks for less. :)
Thank you for stopping by,
Eva
P.S. The Heartland Lady blog turns TWO today! Yay! I'm probably going to be making a rhubarb cake for this. ;) Stay tuned...
Oh my gosh, this skirt if=s such a treasure! The colour is gorgeously rich and makes a girl want to twirl in it :)
