Happy Tuesday, all! As promised, here is the first grouping of Dressember looks. If you missed my announcement about this special cause, there's a quick summary at the bottom of the post!
December 1st
Had to be a bit creative regarding warmth what with the snowstorm going on. :) I get the sense that sweaters, scarves, and boots will play a large role in making Dressember possible.
Here are the details for you...
Black midi dress - Boden
Green sweater - rummage sale
Black watch blanket scarf - Kohl's (Black watch is my very favorite plaid in the world. I think the blue/green combo looks just smashing! And this particular scarf is reversible to a basic houndstooth pattern. A win-win!)
Black suede boots - DSW, similar style here
December 2nd
I thought a sweater dress and fur leg warmers seemed just the ticket for an après-snowstorm look. ;)
Sweater dress - rummage sale
Leggings - Walmart
Fur leg warmers - Fabulous Furs, similar style at Etsy
Cashmere scarf - Garnet Hill (now on sale!)
December 3rd
The ever-flattering wrap dress, updated for winter!
Dress - Ann Taylor (still available in a brighter blue... or plaid!)
Tights - DSW
Boots - JCPenney
'Til next time,
Eva
About Dressember
Dressember is a movement to bring awareness to human trafficking. Since it began in 2013, the organization has raised millions of dollars - funds which go to aid victims of modern slavery. Aside from donating to the cause, you can take part in the Dressember Challenge by wearing a dress every day in December (or men can wear ties.) I'm going to give this challenge my best shot.

If you would like to make a donation to this important cause, I've set up an advocate's page for the Heartland Lady blog.
