Hi all, running a bit short on time this week, so another easy post is in order. Here are some of my favorite things from around the interwebs lately. Hope you enjoy the assortment!
Take a look at this gorgeous apartment in NYC. I just love when small spaces are done up in a "jewel box treatment." Rich colors, sumptuous textures... it appeals to my extravagant side. :)
My piano idol, Lorie Line, playing her new arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody. I can tell you that this song as a piano solo is quite a feat, given how many parts there are. And the syncopation, goodness! Lorie never fails to impress, even after 30 years of performing.
Stumbled across this beautiful poem as I was reading one evening on the porch. Edgar A. Guest was known as the "People's Poet." His writing offered a romantic view of normal, everyday scenes. Click here to read it in full.
A shameless plug to check out my blueberry zucchini cake with lemon buttercream. I made it again this summer, and I've gotta tell you, it's really foolproof. It has turned out smashingly every single time. I encourage you to give it a try!
'Til next time,
Eva
