An Assortment: Vol. II

Hi all, running a bit short on time this week, so another easy post is in order. Here are some of my favorite things from around the interwebs lately. Hope you enjoy the assortment!

  • Take a look at this gorgeous apartment in NYC. I just love when small spaces are done up in a "jewel box treatment." Rich colors, sumptuous textures... it appeals to my extravagant side. :)

  • My piano idol, Lorie Line, playing her new arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody. I can tell you that this song as a piano solo is quite a feat, given how many parts there are. And the syncopation, goodness! Lorie never fails to impress, even after 30 years of performing.

  • Stumbled across this beautiful poem as I was reading one evening on the porch. Edgar A. Guest was known as the "People's Poet." His writing offered a romantic view of normal, everyday scenes. Click here to read it in full.

  • A shameless plug to check out my blueberry zucchini cake with lemon buttercream. I made it again this summer, and I've gotta tell you, it's really foolproof. It has turned out smashingly every single time. I encourage you to give it a try!

'Til next time,

Eva
