Hi all! Wanted to share some of my favorite things from around the interwebs this week. As with any good assortment, there's a bit of everything, so hopefully something will catch your eye. :)
Sickness season is upon us! So many friends and acquaintances (and myself) have been stricken with colds or flu. If you're in the same boat, take a look at these cold-fighting hacks that I shared last fall. Of course, I can't promise a cure, but these little things do make life at least semi-bearable.
This stand-up routine made me laugh. From a gardener's perspective this is just hilarious. Be sure to check out other Dry Bar comedians as well. Plenty of great clean humor, which can be hard to find these days.
Anyone who's watched Seinfeld will appreciate this... The J. Peterman Company is a real thing! I've been receiving their catalogs in the mail for a while now. Most everything is absurdly expensive, but it's fun just to read the little stories that go with each item. (Remember how Elaine was stumped on a storyline for the Himalayan Walking Boots?)
How marvelous does this bundt cake look? It's on my to-bake list (along with many, many other desserts. Hehe.)
Given how wretched the weather has been lately, the "winter blues" might be setting in early this year. Here's some helpful info about seasonal affective disorder.
All you need to know about setting the table from Veranda magazine.
'Til next time,
Eva
A truly fantastic blog post - a bright spot during this very very grey week!
